Back from the winter hols and rocking again. What a strange gig. Tiny, I mean tiny and you setup in near blackout conditions.
I certainly should not have brought the Piano along, just too big. The sound was awful, people were drunk and getting on stage to play tambourine along with us (uninvited) and at one point Little Dave left the stage as it was too crowded.
On the upside the staff were so nice and gorgeous too (unusual combination) and the gig was ram packed full.
I hurt my back getting the gear out to the car but Timmy kindly picked me up and shook me in an attempt to fix it. No, he's not a doctor and no it didn't fix it but it did highlight how immensely strong that guy is.
Late night gig and it was snowing when we left at 01:15 vowing never to play there again. We will though - 30th October 2010!!!
